The Kelowna Adult Softball Association (KASA) was formally incorporated as a non-profit society in 1995. However, we have been promoting and advocating the interests of adult softball in the Kelowna area for close to 20 years.

KASA is an avid proponent of friendly co-operation between all local sports organizations and civic authorities. As founding members of the City of Kelowna's Sportsfield Advisory Executive Committee, KASA has initiated and influenced many of the policies and procedures pertaining to the development, design, maintenance, allocation and fee structures of most sportsfield facilities in our region.

The Kelowna Adult Softball Association (KASA) supports several softball leagues in the Kelowna area. The leagues are very active and offer a wide variety of tournaments from April through to October.

KASA has made sure that the tournament schedule is chock-a block full with all flavours of softball. There are Ladies, Mens or Co-ed Fast- or Slo-pitch tournaments scheduled for just about every weekend from April through October. On some weekends there might even be one of each! KASA ORGANIZED "BATS FOR A CAUSE"

The Kelowna Adult Softball Association has taken a very special organization under its wing. The members of the KASA executive work tireless for many months to organize a wonderful fun weekend event every July in support of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. 2009 was the event's first year and we managed to collect $13,000 for this wonderful cause. In July 2010, our second year holding this event, 16 teams signed up and between them helped hand over a cheque in the whopping amount of $32,000! Having fun never felt soooooooooo good!!!!

We encourage all of this year's participants to come back next year, and we invite any team who wishes to enter to contact us for more information on next year's tournament!
